Presidential Debate, Liberal’s First Non-Confidence Vote, #OrangeShirtDay

Welcome to The Morning News Podcast for Wednesday, September 30th. We begin with a look at Tuesday night’s televised Presidential Debate. We get reaction from Reggie Cecchini, Global’s Washington Correspondent – on a debate that – by most accounts – had a lot of fireworks – and no clear winner. Then we continue our analysis of the first Presidential Debate – but from a different angle. And finally – Orange Shirt day was created to raise awareness about the history and legacy of Canada’s ‘Residential Schools’.  We’ll speak with a Residential School survivor on the importance of the day – and how it will look ‘different’ this year, amidst the Pandemic.
