Damen Corrado is a Chicago-based writer and actor with old school links to Adam Parfrey and the broader American underground. In 2019, the late Parfrey's Feral House publishing imprint published a book co-written by Damen and James "Jinx" O'Connor. Entitled Compliments of Chicagohoodz: "A rare, private collection of photos, calling cards, and ephemera serves that analyzes the unique visual language and graphics of Chicago’s gangs, drawing upon decades of interviews, documentation, and collecting of memorabilia, and featuring commentary from gang members and Chicago artists." Here we discuss that book, Adam's kneejerk contempt for graffiti, Dean Koontz, the evils of music critic Brandon Stosuy and music dickhead Steve Albini, the Ukraine and LGBT shilling of Douglas P,  the heroism of Jim Goad, the hideous growing pains of Generation X, the fortitude of Dominick Fernow, and more...
