Karen Read's 10-week-long trial ends in a mistrial. I feel for the victim's family and the community in Canton because they don’t have answers or any sense of finality. It’s tough to move on when you’re waiting for another trial. There is a status conference scheduled for July 22nd, 2024 at 2pm ET on the case and the Commonwealth has indicated they intend to retry Karen Read.
