It offers an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God, learn from His Word, and grow more like Christ in our thoughts, actions, and character. Through quiet time, we engage in focused prayer, Bible study, and reflection, allowing space for God's presence to shape us. God created us with a deep, intrinsic need for connection with Him. Just as any relationship thrives with time and attention, so does our relationship with God. Quiet time is the way we nurture that connection, allowing ourselves to listen to His voice, seek His guidance, and understand His will for our lives.  “If we knew how much God loved us and was for us, we’d talk to Him all day long” -- Donald MillerAs we engage in this practice consistently, our desire for it increases. Just as we long for fellowship with close friends or family, we will hunger for time with the Lord each day. This spiritual discipline helps us grow in Christlikeness, transforming our hearts and minds, aligning us more with His character, and empowering us to live out His will in the world around us. The more we seek Him, the more we grow, and the more we long for the intimacy of our time alone with Him. "To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement." ~ Saint AugustineIf you have time to scroll and swipe, you have time for quiet time.“You will seek me and find me” Jeremiah 29:13 NIV  “I will meditate on Your precepts,  And contemplate Your ways.”  Psalms 119:15 NKJVPractical Steps:Pick a consistent time each dayPick a place where you can stay focusedPut on some worship music in the background5 to 10 minutes of talking to your loving FatherRead a Bible chapter or passageWrite down what stood out in your reading or what the Holy Spirit revealed to you.Meditate (chew) of what you read and heardShare with your spouse something that you wrote down.Developing Intimacy Friendship Builder·      Have a 10-minute quiet time session each day#MarriageMatters #CoupleGoals #MarriageTips #LoveAndMarriage #HappyMarriage #MarriagePodcast #MarriageHelp #StrongerTogether #LoveAndRespect #HealthyMarriage #MarriageJourney #RelationshipGrowth #CouplesCommunication #marriage101 #honor #respect #domesticsupport #inspiringmarriages #sex #healthysex #committment #exclusivity #faithandlove #couplespodcast #intimacy

Women with Dyslexia Podcast: Living the Gospel with Power Hope B This podcast is designed for women with dyslexia who believe that God can do something new. The Apostle Paul says that we are transformed by renewing our minds to do what pleases the LORD, which is His will. When our minds are renewed (neuroscientists call this neuroplasticity), we are transformed. This podcast will contain short biblical messages designed to replace our old negative thinking with the truth found in God’s word. It is devoted to encouraging and inspiring adult women with dyslexia by listening to biblical truths that will uplift and challenge them to find a place for dyslexia in their lives and let Christ take center stage of their lives. To benefit from these short yet powerful messages, I recommend making these podcasts part of your morning and evening time with the Lord. Thank you for joining me.
