'Factory Sequences makes a welcome return to True Romance with 'Rave Error' – a double-header of Italo-licked, drivetime Disco and his 4th release on the label. The title track gets us going with some effortless progression. Free flowing and magnetic, the groove unfolds like a live jam as striking melodies stack up, climbing together in lockstep forming a giddy, uplifting spirit. The synths are charged, lively and expertly layered as they burst with colour over thick, rounded bass tones and punchy drums that work to anchor an infectious, retro-futuristic mood. 'Remind' presents the flip side of the coin with its similar but slightly more forceful sound palette. Rim shots give the rhythm an expressive flair while lucent tones ping pong against each other and more rousing chords stack up in layers, tugging on heart strings as they do. This is richly layered, poignant dance music at its best - built by an artist with a more than masterful grip on his synths. Not to be missed!'
