RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE

Scripture: “…who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” – Psalm 103:5 Devotional Message: God promises not only to forgive, heal, and redeem, but also to renew our strength. The image of the eagle is powerful—it is known for soaring above storms and for the renewal of its feathers, symbolizing vigor and fresh energy. In the same way, God revives our weary hearts, restores hope, and empowers us to keep pressing forward. Life’s battles can drain us, leaving us spiritually, emotionally, and physically exhausted. But the Lord never intends for us to live burned out or defeated. He refreshes us daily with His presence, His Word, and His Spirit, giving us strength to rise above trials. Renewal comes not from our own effort but from trusting the God who fills us with His goodness. When you feel tired and worn out, remember: God is the source of endless renewal. Just as the eagle soars higher when the winds grow stronger, so will you when you lean on Him. Today, AskYourself: Am I depending on my own strength, or am I allowing God to renew me daily through His Spirit and His Word?
