Refugees are forced to deal with many critical issues throughout the world. In today’s Underreported feature, we’ll examine some of the specific issues that refugee women are struggling with, including gender-based violence and grossly inadequate reproductive health care. Gertrude Garway, a former refugee from Liberia, tells us about her work to curb gender-based violence in West Africa.
