RFP Podcast Episode #20 – As a parent, sometimes our help may hurt? Parents always want to help our children. We want to guide them, fix their problems, and help the disappointment go away. However, sometimes, when we try to fix the problem, we in effect, make the situation worse. It is not easy to let things go and leave it to our children to embrace the situation and handle it. Our kids are resilient and it is tough to have them grow through situations. We hate to see them go through pain but there are moments of growth and learning, that they need to experience, that we as parents need to let them.
