RFP Podcast Episode #37 – 11-year-old Grit!!

from Relentless Forward Progress with Mike Ubaldini · host Mike Ubaldini

I have been blessed to have an amazing wife, and two, very, very special children. These three people make up my desire to keep moving forward. As parents, we hope that the lessons we try and teach our kids sink in and help them, at least some of the time, overcome troubles and challenges. My heart was moved yesterday when my 11 year-old daughter, Alaina, showed true grit and perseverance. This RFP episode shares that moment. – “I realized that the outcome is not the outcome. What we think of as endpoints to a goal are really just forks in the road that is endlessly forking. In the big picture of our life we really don’t know whether a particular success or failure is actually helping our hurting us.” - Neil Strauss Our kids are amazing. We must let them be creative and determine, for themselves, who they truly want to be. “You create your moment.” - unknown
