Knowing that his clan could be much better off, Rob Roy takes out a 1,000 pound loan from the Marquis of montrose to help feed his people through the upcoming winter. Without giving too much away about the conflict of the film, let's just say a 1,000 pound loan is never as easy as just picking up the money and returning home safely.
