Rodney interviews the TJ Reddick Bar Association Chamber v Florida Exhibition Thursday February 9, 2023

Rodney Baltimore interviews member of the TJ Reddick Bar Association President Attorney Alexis Hudson, President Elect Attorney Shanae Randle, and Attorney Tia Gibbs. The TJ Reddick Bar Association has an exhibition called 'Chamber v. Florida' this landmark Supreme Court decision happened in Pompano Beach , FL in Broward County in 1933. Where 25 Black were rounded up as suspects in the murder of a white fisherman 4 Black were beaten by police until they confessed to a the crime they did not commit and execution was set 2 months later. African American lawyers in Jacksonville, Florida Simuel Decatur McGill and Robert Crawford heard about the case and the forced confessions. This case eventually made it to the Supreme Court of the United States of America and was argued by a young lawyer Thurgood Marshall and won.
