"To be honest, I'm not a fan. I don't like the term quiet quitting." Quiet quitting is when you only do the tasks in your role description within the hours you're paid to work. In the last few months, quiet quitting has become quite a trend on TikTok, especially for those in the Gen Z and Millennial age range.[00:01:50] - According to Gallup, 50% of American workers currently fall into the quiet quitting category. In Australia the trend isn't as noticeable as it is in America. There are four reasons why it makes sense to quitely quit your job and one reason not to.[00:11:00] - Acting your wage is another term used for quietly quitting. If you want to get a leadership role, you need to be acting the wage of the role you want, not just the one you're in.
