In this episode we start exploring the book of Daniel, and meet his three friends Shaddrach, Meshach & Abednego!This part of the story can be found in the Old Testament book of Daniel Chapter 1, 2 & 3.Q. Daniel served in the Palace of the King of Babylon? What was the King’s name?Q. Daniel has three really close friends called Hannaniah, Mishael & Azzariah. The King’s chief official changed their names though, and they became famous for getting thrown into a fiery furnace and surviving!… Do you know what names they were given?Q. King Nebuchadnezzar ended up making Daniel the ruler over all of Babylon and gave him lots of cool presents. What did Daniel do that made Nebuchadnezzar so happy?Q. Shaddrach Meshach and Abednego ended up getting thrown into a fiery furnace for not bowing to King Neb’s statue. They said they would only bow to God, not people - so Nebuchadnezzar wanted to kill them. But when he looked into the furnace - how many people did he see in there?Q. When the King saw that Shaddrach, Meshach and Abednego survived - do you know what he did?Q. Daniel’s friends were given new names.
