I managed to secure an interview with Journey’s Neal Schon. Of course besides guitarist and songwriter for one of the most well known bands of the 80’s Neal was also guitarist for big names like Santana, Hardline and Bad English. As a session guitarist he has worked with Rock royalty, Sammy Hagar, Joe Cocker, Jimmy Barnes and The Allman Brothers. He was chatting about his latest Journey album Freedom, and I was explicitly asked not to ask any questions about the most most famous journey song, Don’t Stop Believing.
