""Tròn" là từ thường xuyên hiện ra trong đầu tôi khi học về giáo dục, văn hoá và xã hội Châu Á. "Tròn" trong từ tròn trịa, tròn vo; tròn có nghĩa là trong cuộc sống mong muốn lớn nhất là không va chạm vào ai, không sóng gió, mong muốn cân bằng, điều hoà tất cả mọi việc, và cao hơn nữa là hoàn hảo tuyệt đối. Nhưng tại sao mọi người vẫn tung hô những mẫu người tự tin, vẫn dạy con “phải là chính mình”, làm sao có thể vừa tự tin/vừa là chính mình mà lại vừa “nghe ngóng” mọi người xung quanh và chiều lòng tất cả được? Phải chăng là phải Méo, là phải chấp nhận có những cái mình khác người, sẽ có va chạm, có xung đột nhưng được sống đúng với bản thân. Kiểu như tôi biết mọi người sẽ thích hơn nếu tôi thế này, thế kia, nhưng tôi chỉ có như thế thôi, miễn là tôi không hại đến ai, cứ để tôi là tôi..." Vậy giáo dục, nên là "tròn" hay "méo"?
