After a history in this country of being heard but not listened to, Sean Rodgers says “Enough is enough! LISTEN TO US!”  Sean, a husband, father and advocate for healthy marriages reverberates the cry of Black Men who are fastly becoming an endangered species.   Sean Rodgers is a charismatic entrepreneur who is passionate about serving others.  Since 2008 he has owned, Response Marketing and Mailing, a print fulfillment and direct mail advertising company where he helps clients grow their business.  As a business owner, he is able to do what he wants, when he wants.  So at his place of business Sean facilitated a weekly men’s forum in order to give men the opportunity to connect and share hearts and life issues with one another, as men are accustomed to doing at the Barber Shop.  Sean has also volunteered his time with the Fatherhood Project by mentoring young men at the juvenile detention center.  He helped young fathers facing life sentences acknowledge and accept their role and responsibility in their child’s life.  He currently facilitates men’s groups held at his church, leading discussions surrounding father wounds and pride.Sean shares his perspective about:--Riots--White People who adopt Black children--God-fearing Bible-believing Bigots--Consistency--Colin Kaepernick…and much more.Sean’s final takeaway is “We can’t stop!” Sean encourages everyone to take a stand and refuse to allow distractions to lull them back to sleep.CONNECT WITH SEANSocial Media Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/sean.rodgers.967Instagram:@r.steadfastloveWebsites:Responsemm.comRsteadfastlove.com The Month of the Man is brought to you by:  DO YOU SPEAK MALE: The 5 C's of Understanding A Man's LanguageDO YOU SPEAK MALE is a "course in unlearning" what you've heard about men, thought about men & your failed experiences with men by offering insights into a man's communication, code, culture, context & conduct: the 5C's that make up a man's language. If you're a NEXT-Level woman ready to UP-Level your relationships, go tohttps://bit.ly/hislanguage and find out more.BREAK THE CYCLE WEBINARJoin Suzette on July 1, 2020 at 12 noon EDT for a free webinar titled, "How To B-R-E-A-K the Cycle of Failed Relationships and Attract Healthy Love Into Your Life"  To find out more and to register, go to bit.ly/BreakItNow.    SUBSCRIBETo get notifications of new episodes or to dive more deeply into today's episode, subscribe, post your questions and comments.  Suzette responds to the questions and comments personally.  And while you're at it, leave a review. Thank you for listening! CREDITSMusic by DH The Composer https://linktr.ee/dhthecomposerCover Design by Odyssey Administrative Services, LLC https://www.facebook.com/odysseyadministrativeservicesPhoto from the gallery of royalty free photo options on Pixteller.com
