Finally we have an update on the FAA's outage that occurred on Jan. 11. A contractor somehow "deleted files while working to correct synchronization between the live primary database and a backup database" (FAA NOTAM Statement). Hosts James Shuler and Taylor Littlejohn assess the situation and beg to ask the question: how on earth does this happen and what can we do to prevent it?

Computer Science: Just the Useful Bits Noah Gibbs Are you a professional developer, or do you want to be? Worried that your computer science theory is not enough, or is outdated? We'll talk about which parts are useful, which aren't, and why/where. Every week you'll get an informed opinion from a professional developer about a specific part of computer science and when/where/whether it's useful. We cover algorithms, analysis, data structures and all sorts of theory, here on Comp Sci: Just the Useful Bits. Bedtime Bits Zoe Lark Hi, my name is Zoe and welcome to my podcast. I don't know about you, but I think a lot when bedtime rolls around, so I decided to start recording those thoughts. You can find me on Instagram and from there you can dm me topics you would like me to talk about, or questions for future Q&A's. The Journey of Motherhood Podcast The Journey of Motherhood Podcast I never know which part to start with….the personal or professional. But I guess when I think about what is most important to me….. above all else….it’s being a mother. I have 4 children between the ages of 8 and 15 years. I call them “the loves of my life” because truly that is how it is. But just as much as they can fill me with so much joy that I burst, they can also bring me to my knees. There is heaps I love about motherhood, some parts I’m indifferent to and a few bits that I don’t like. I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today, without the experiences that motherhood has brought me.On top of all that I’m a Clinical (and Forensic) Psychologist. I’ll save the conversation about “what is a forensic psychologist” for another time. What I really want you to know is that one of the areas that I love love love working in the most, is with mums and their bubs, toddlers, pre-schoolers, primary and high school aged kids.
