Welcome back to Under the Insulin! We’re kicking off Season 2 with a juicy conversation with all your hosts about some of the wackiest myths and misconceptions we’ve heard about diabetes over the years, including (but not limited to) ridiculous superfood “cures”, gross misrepresentations of T1D on TV, and the double standards faced by people with diabetes.  The conversation gets real as we set straight the differences between Type 1 and Type 2, share hilarious misunderstandings people have had about our diabetes gear, and even go into the genetics of passing diabetes onto your kids.  We’ve got some funny stories, some interesting facts, and a lot of laughs.  Join us as we share our lived experiences, debunk these myths, and offer some genuine support for the Type 1 community!
