S3 E6 - The 100 Club

from The Tottenham Way · host The Tottenham Way

Tom returns from selfishly having his wedding and honeymoon to join Dan and special guest Jonathan Shainin, Spurs fan and editor of Guardian Longreads. We start with a chat about longread journalism and why it is so successful, and what would make a good Tottenham long read; Pochettino or Levy? We move onto the surprisingly routine victory away to Everton on Saturday, with Kane reaching his 100th (and 101st) goals for the club. What have been our favourites so far? We also discuss Davinson slotting straight in, Ben Davies taking responsibility and Christian Eriksen continuing to be the player of 2017 so far. We move on to Dortmund and the Champions League, with an opportunity to show that lessons have been learned on the biggest stage against Europe's finest. How do we manage without Alli, suspended for half the group stage? Will Wembley again be a factor? We also discuss Swansea, the club against whom we've played 12 times in the Premier League and only ever dropped 4 points. So, there's some nice tempting of fate all round. This season we are sponsored by Harry's, the US shaving company making a big impact here in the UK.
