The teachings of the Bible about itself can be classified into roughly four categories; (1) the Authority of Scripture, it is God’s Word and to believe or disbelieve it is to do so towards God Himself, (2) the Clarity of Scripture, it is what we need to know about God and ourselves is written clearly, (3) the Necessity of Scripture, it is needed to know God personally, for salvation, godly living (4) the Sufficiency of Scripture, it is all we need because it is as relevant and powerful today as ever.
