After fighting the creature known as Black Magga off into the depths of Claybottom Lake, the team heeds the advice of Mayor Maelin Shreed of Turtleback Ferry to investigate the nearby Skull's Crossing to investigate whether any issue is apparent with the dam.  Ullr flips the mattress, Seres scouts ahead, Reetin retains a negative level and Harper levels up.
