Season 3. Episode 9. Jenn Anderson on the not-so-paradise life on Hawaii during the pandemic and how she found meaning through saving stray cats!

Go ahead and text me! Jenn Anderson is one of those people who loves animals, always has. When she found herself on Hawaii during the pandemic, with her Navy husband deployed, alone and struggling to make friends or find a job, she turned it around by helping the stray cats that she found. She taught herself to trap them and made it her mission to help as many kitties as she could. I loved how she turned a bad situation around!  I first met Jenn in Spain, at an English immersion program, Spanish people sign up to improve their English and spend the week with "Anglos" like us  doing activities, and sharing meals. It was such a wonderul experience for us both and we kept in touch since then!  Jenn was single back then, in 2016, and worried that she wasn't going to get married. Lo and behold, Matt was stationed in her town in upstate NY and they met and the rest is history. They now live in South Carolina with their adorable baby girl Emme, who is 7 months old.   It has been great learning about how Jenn turned her experience in Hawaii around, and how she continues to care for her animals.  What a good baby!
