September 9 – Exodus 14:1-9

Oh Pharaoh, you are so fickle and quick to forget God’s wrath.  It didn’t take long for Pharaoh to question his decision to release the Israelites.  So now we see an army preparing to attack and take back the Israelites who were encamped by the sea in the wilderness.  Although Pharaoh wasn’t a child of God, we can learn much from his actions.  How are we sometimes like fickle Pharaoh and change our mind back and forth on what we should do?   What does that say about your faith?   Do you trust God’s plan or will for your life?    How do you discern God’s plan?
