Let’s say this out loud: It’s not easy to follow Jesus. And church’s have created all kinds of classes and programs to help us feel like we’re making at least a little progress. But we spend a lot of time frustrated. Good news: it’s not that complicated. Grab a towel, bend a knee and serve someone else.

We're people of different backgrounds and ages who share some values, such as: knowing and enjoying Jesus and helping others delight in Himpursuing authentic relationships rooted in the truth of God's Word, the Bible Lake Gregory Community Church Podcast Lake Gregory Community Church Jesus is the head of the church. He is the great and good shepherd and the model for all the faithful to follow as our only shepherd. We take full note of Jesus’ often used metaphor of sheep/shepherd as our guide in all church matters. As Shepherd, Jesus modeled the role of ultimate servant to the church. Thus, our church embraces the biblical reality that each member must be a servant to all other members of our local body. However, we also recognize that Jesus, as the head of the church, is the ultimate authority in all church matters and the one to whom all in church governance positions are responsible.
