A powerful force in the mindfulness movement and in mutual aid, our special guest is Shelly Tygielski. She is the author of Sit Down to Rise Up and founder of the global grassroots organization, Pandemic of Love. A trauma-mindfulness teacher and a Garrison Institute Fellow, she teaches self-care and resilience to organizations around the world. Her work has been featured on CNN Heroes, The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS This Morning, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. Lee and Shelly have a heartfelt conversation about finding gifts in the dark moments and what can emerge when we come from a place of love and empathy.
