'Doctor Who' Star Millie Gibson is being Replaced by Varada Sethu After One Season "Doctor Who" star Millie Gibson is being replaced after one season, Variety has confirmed. "Jurassic World Dominion" actor Varada Sethu will star opposite Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor's companion in the 15th season of the show. Gibson, who until now was best known for playing Kelly Neelan on British soap "Coronation Street," made her debut on the long-running sci-fi show in December's Christmas Special. She played companion Ruby Sunday alongside Gatwa, who stars as the Fifteenth Doctor.
