music from PodShow Artist - Christabel Track 1 - Something BeautifulTrack 2 - The Love I never had MySpace BioI'm a singer/sonwriter from Brighton, although I am now based in London. My songs are soul/blues based although it is very difficult to define your own sound. I managed to cajole various musician friends into helping me record them, for which I am eternally grateful to them! Recently I have been co-writing with songs with pianist Jules Porreca. I regularly play with funk/soul bands, such as Soul City (8 piece) and The Hustle (5 piece), and in jazz/swing bands, such as The Big Swing. I have also done a fair amount of session work, mostly dance music, for acts such as Kontact, Skylab Nine, and Plummet. I decided it was time to get on with writing songs for myself and so what we have here are a few examples of that, except for Go Deeper which was written by Jim Sullivan et al. and is an example of some session work I have done.
