from The Wath Presents · host Dale Wathen

Statik Selektah shows his geographical range, hooking with some of Golden State's finest for this new track off his Sophomore album, Stick 2 The Script. Charles Penniman (born in Watts, California), better known by his stage name Glasses Malone or G. Malone, is a West Coast rapper from the Watts District of Los Angeles, California.Traditionally associated with The Black Wall Street Records despite the fact that most the artists on the record label were Bloods, Malone signed with Sony Records for 1.7 million dollars in 2005[2], turning down offers from many labels like Def Jam Records[2], Interscope Records, J Records, Black Wall Street Records and Atlantic Records. Glasses Malone was found by the same record executive that found The Game. Along with his signing, he was also given his own imprint, Blu Division.[2] His decision to leave The Black Wall Street hasn't affected his relationship negatively with The Game. The Game had a few words to say about Glasses "using his label" on "120 Bars", but both sides are on good terms and have even performed together on stage.[3] G. Malone lit the underground on fire in 2005 with his mixtape White Lighting (Sticks), which sold over 30,000 copies.[4] Earlier, he released The Crack Mixtape.[5] Glasses Malone can be seen in the music video for Tha Dogg Pound's single "Cali Iz Active'. He also appeared on the soundtrack to Madden 2007 with a song called "Right Now" which was produced by Scott Storch. On August 4, 2006 Glasses Malone appeared on MTV's You Hear It First.[6] Malone's first album, The Beach Cruiser, was originally scheduled to come out on February 20, 2007. However, due to a change in record labels, Malone signed a new deal with Cash Money Records and Hoo-Bangin' Records[7] and his album release scheduled tentatively for April 2008. His album has now been pushed back to June 6, 2009 and there is now a new single featuring T-Pain, Rick Ross, and Birdman, as well as two new mixtapes before the album drops according to Dubcnn[8 Stanley P. Cox, (born January 23, 1982)[1] better known by his stage name Mistah F.A.B., is an American rapper from North Oakland, California. He attended Oakland Technical High School and Emery High School. He is signed to Bay Area rap legend Mac Dre's label, Thizz Entertainment and Atlantic Records. Mistah F.A.B. is an acronym for "Money Is Something to Always Have - FaEva Afta Bread." Mistah F.A.B. was born in North Oakland, California and raised by his grandmother and his mother, who sometimes worked four jobs to support him while his father was incarcerated. When F.A.B. was 12, his father died of complications of AIDS. Around that time, F.A.B. started writing and rapping. In high school F.A.B. competed in freestyle rap battles. On Friday February 6th, 2009 while traveling to Los Angeles CA from Bakersfield CA, FAB was riding in a car with his manager Stretch driving and another passenger. The car hit a pot-hole and hydro-planed flipping over 2 times and coming to a rest up-side down. Initially it was thought that FAB would be paralyzed from the waist down, this was later proven to be incorrect as FAB was released from the hospital the next day.
