Still Optimistic About Kenny Pickett? | Steelers Afternoon Drive

from Steelers Afternoon Drive · host Pro Football Insiders

Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Kenny Pickett did what he always does against the Tennessee Titans and pulled out a win by playing his best in the 4th quarter after not doing much of anything for the previous 3. As we sit at the midway point of the 2023 season, where does his performance stack up to where expectations should have been and has the hope of him turning into something more diminished for the majority of the fanbase? Wide receiver George Pickens is a key piece of this offense, and somebody the team needs to have in the fold going forward. His production has dipped a bit though and while that's largely due to the attention he is getting from opposing defenses, Kenny Pickett and Matt Canada need to find ways to keep him involved anyways.
