The Town Mile Podcast Joe Janssen The Town Mile Podcast was created by Joe Janssen in July of 2017 and is a home for all things ball, rock and roll, small town anecdotes, big city anecdotes, and everything in between. Matt Scioli jumped on board shortly after the inception, and has truly been a perfect addition. The name comes from Hall Of Fame Coach Jeff Vanleur’s ability to get young kids to run hard on paved roads. Most notably Tony Klock: who in 1994 won the gold medal state title in the 300 hurdles, despite not having a track to train on. Track practice consisted of running through town: town miles. As well as playing at some of the best nights in the county alongside the likes of Frank Lorber, Sebo K and Felix Da Housecat Cler started her own night Rhumba, bringing some of the best DJs and producers to Liverpool for the first time including Patrice Baumel, Ben Klock, Phil Kieran and Super Flu. “CREAM OF THE CROP Creamfields 2007 saw its first female DJ play the mainstage in the form of spinmeister Cler Lever. Martin Vovk caught up with her at the festival, and we give the 4Talent verdict on Creamfields '07 'Opening the stage this year, though, is Cler Lever, whose early set of chilled progressive house serves as a reminder of the festival's origins as well indicating its commitment to new talent.”
