STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS!

Scripture: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) Message: We often view weakness as something to hide or overcome, believing that strength means having it all together. But in 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Apostle Paul shares a profound truth: it’s in our weakness that God’s strength is most evident. When Paul faced his own struggles—his “thorn in the flesh”—God didn’t remove it. Instead, He offered something greater: His grace. God’s grace isn’t just a comforting idea; it’s the very power that sustains us when we feel depleted, broken, or overwhelmed. His strength shines brightest when we reach the end of our own abilities. In our weakest moments, we are perfectly positioned to experience the fullness of His power. Paul’s response is remarkable: “I will boast in my infirmities.” Why? Because when we acknowledge our limitations, we create space for Christ’s power to rest upon us. It’s not about pretending to be strong but being honest about our need for God. Our struggles become testimonies of His faithfulness, and our insufficiency highlights His sufficiency. Today, ask yourself: Am I trying to rely on my own strength, or am I allowing God’s power to work through my weakness? What areas of my life do I need to surrender to His grace? How can I shift my perspective to see weakness not as a failure, but as an opportunity for God’s strength to be revealed? Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that Your grace is sufficient for every situation I face. Help me not to hide my weaknesses but to embrace them as opportunities for Your power to be made perfect in me. I surrender my struggles, my fears, and my limitations to You.
