from Journal Up! with Becca Rae · host Becca Rae Eagle, M.S.Ed.

Send us Fan MailToday, we explore 2020-2021, and what it was like to serve as a high school teacher for me during Covid times. Logan Taylor's speech "U Matter," is a significant inspiration for this chapter as we journal because each of us matters and is fearfully and wonderfully made. Meditative, mental health journaling that supports body, mind, and spirit health is a self-care tool that got me through some of the toughest times in my career in education. Breathwork and grounding are important parts of my own journaling practice.Today's research includes statistics from The National Education Association (NEA) and a meditative journal prompt to journal along to with the mindful, meditative sounds of Masood Taj's "Unconditional Love" track (short version-5 minutes), or you can choose to extend your experience by adding a track from my accompanying Spotify playlist: track 5, created just for this chapter-Hop over to listen to Nichole Nordeman's "Brave."https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1BKHHSFspfTqv7G7smvYVP?si=2c045ed4df6a443eInteract with today's chapter, Chapter Three, Embodying Joy: A Heart Journal-A Memoir for Body, Mind, & Spirit Health (Amazon 2023). https://tinyurl.com/embodyingjoyaheartjournal or venture on a standalone journey of self-expression by responding to today's journal prompt.
