Gabriel responded to them very differently, striking one mute but explaining God's plan to the other. Why the difference? Zechariah and Mary demonstrated different types of doubt. And from Gabriel's responses to them we learn not to be afraid of doubt, but to let it prompt us to pursue the truth. Text: Luke 1
