Your annual source of summertime frustration has returned, and it feels good. The sounds of Orioles baseball will surround you each night from 7:05 p.m. until you start to snore on the couch around 9:45. We wouldn’t have it any other way.The Orioles kicked off their 2021 campaign with a three-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox at their own place. Then they headed up to the boogie-down Bronx, where things have not been going quite as well.There were stand-out performance from future Cy Young Award winner John Means plus an impressive showing from all parts of the Birds bullpen. Not to mention, Cedric Mullins might be the best center fielder in the American League all of the sudden.Of course, it wasn’t all positive. The offense, in general, has experienced a power outage and racked up strikeouts in the process.
