Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: The rag-tag group of underdogs overcomes the more skilled favorite thanks to nothing more than their belief in each other. That popular sports movie cliché may feel unrealistic at times, but when it comes to building a team in real life, the value of cohesiveness and chemistry is increasingly measurable and provable. Whether it’s the NBA’s 2004 Detroit Pistons, the 2016 Leicester City Foxes soccer club, or the miracle 2003 Penrith Panthers of Australian rugby, there are many examples of the right players in the right system doing something seemingly impossible. But is it actually possible to quantify team chemistry — and if so, can such assessments really make a difference on the field? We speak with Simon Strachan of Gain Line Analytics to find out.

Counterpoint with Eddie Hobbs Eddie Hobbs Counterpoint searches for wisdom from among dissenters.Critical thinkers have a latent love for plain speaking in open debates that do not flinch before sacred cows especially true of Irish audiences. Expect Counterpoint interviews to be curious, challenging, and dissenting across global themes, in the common search for authenticity and truth, beyond the footprints of groupthink. Eddie Hobbs is known for his blockbuster TV series Rip Off Republic which set audience records for Irish TV when his humourous polemic forensically challenged the Irish Government on how the State was 'eating its young'. It was a harbinger of the Irish crash. Since 2020, Hobbs has consistently called out the Irish 4th Estate for deserting the Irish people, for not challenging State policies on COVID. He also called out the Irish President for failing in his duty to use the Constitution to protect the people from vaccine passports. L.V. Johnston L.V. Johnston Thank you for checking out my Soundcloud page! I hope you enjoy the eclectic mixture of sounds contained herein. These works are the result of hours (not to mention decades) of effort in getting the sounds contained in my mind into a permanent fixed form. Something about the environment there opened up my inner ear to new ways of intertwining a vocal melody with the harmonic counterpoint into a complete finished whole.Other tunes are a basic sets of stems (guit Point Counterpoint Counterpoint Media Point Counterpoint is a podcast where host Chris Wright discusses exciting topics in long form conversation format.
