Bill Blunden is a security analyst whose current areas of inquiry touch on clandestine operations, technology, and power. He’s best known for writing the software industry’s most detailed manual on anti-forensics, the "Rootkit Arsenal." Over the past two decades Bill has toiled in R&D departments, developed tools for network security appliances, and taken various detours through academia. Bill has written a number of other books including "Behold a Pale Farce," "Software Exorcism," "Cube Farm," and "Offshoring IT: The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly." In the domain of the social sciences, he has co-authored articles related to 9/11 that have appeared in academic publications like Peace Psychology and Aggressive Behavior.
