Thank U Snowboarding - S2 - Ep20 - Snow Camp

from Thank U Snowboarding

I had been aware of Snow Camp for a long time, one of the staff at our chalet had worked for them years ago, but they came more on my radar as they are based near to where I live in Hove. I had in the past wondered if introducing disadvantaged kids to the mountains was a good use of money, surely there are bigger problems to surmount, but as I"ve got to understand what they do, why they do it and what the outcomes are, I think its an invaluable opportunity for kids to discover who they could be and what the world can offer, through life changing experiences in the mountains. I mean, almost everytime I'm in the mountains it's a life affirming thing, and I'm deep in the game, just imagine what power that has for a kid who has never even left the UK, or maybe even his neighbourhood. If you''d like to know more about Snow Camp and what they do, you can visit their website here: https://www.snow-camp.org.uk/If you want any info about the Brits, you can find it here: https://britssnow.com/As always, we are kindly looked after by The Snowboard Asyum https://www.snowboard-asylum.com/Lizzie and Dan from Burton https://www.burton.com/gb/en/home?regionSelector=trueTom from Transform Gloves https://transformgloves.com/en-gbChris from Canoe Inc for Oakley Goggles https://www.oakley.com/en-gbAnd a shout out to Tom from Volcom https://highdaysltd.com/ Hosted on Acast. Women with Dyslexia Podcast: Living the Gospel with Power Hope B This podcast is designed for women with dyslexia who believe that God can do something new. The Apostle Paul says that we are transformed by renewing our minds to do what pleases the LORD, which is His will. When our minds are renewed (neuroscientists call this neuroplasticity), we are transformed. This podcast will contain short biblical messages designed to replace our old negative thinking with the truth found in God’s word. It is devoted to encouraging and inspiring adult women with dyslexia by listening to biblical truths that will uplift and challenge them to find a place for dyslexia in their lives and let Christ take center stage of their lives. To benefit from these short yet powerful messages, I recommend making these podcasts part of your morning and evening time with the Lord. Thank you for joining me. Dragnet - Single Episodes Old Time Radio Researchers Group DRAGNETDragnet, the brainchild of Jack Webb, may very well be the most well-remembered, and the best, radio police drama series. From September, 1949 through February 1957, Dragnet's 30 minute shows, broadcast on NBC, brought to radio true police stories in a low-key, documentary style. The origins of Dragnet can be traced to a semi-documentary film, "He Walked by Night" from 1948, in which Webb had a small role. Both employed the same Los Angeles Police Department technical adviser, used actual police cases and presented the case in "just the facts" manner that became a hallmark of Dragnet. It is interesting to note that Webb employed that format in other radio series, some pre-dating the film mentioned above.Dragnet was a long running radio and television police procedural drama, about the cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective, Sergeant Joe Friday, and his partners. The show takes its name from an actual police term, a dra Third Eye Edify Podcast Jorge Mesa Get my new book:Paperback: https://a.co/d/httI0daEbook: https://books2read.com/u/mBAx6OCheck out my website: http://thirdeyeedify.com/Join my Bass Player University:https://jorgemesamusic.com/bassplayeruniversityThis podcast is on a relentless quest for truth, no matter what dark corner it is hiding in.
