I’d like to start this first episode by talking a little bit about what this podcast is about. We live in a crazy world. There are so many negative factors that affect our lives. Fear, consumerism, politics, our job, the list goes on. I’ve realized when either performing or practicing, those factors just don’t exist in my mind. That’s not to say they’re gone completely, but music is able to free me for just a little while.I’ve realized that music is a way to quiet my mind from that inner voice that tells me how much of a failure I am, that I’m going to go completely in debt and live in a box under some bridge like some ugly old bridge troll. As you can see my inner voice is not the nicest.I’ve learned to take the concepts and feelings that come over me as I’m performing and practicing and utilize them in everyday life to truly live musically.Over the next weeks and months I’ll be releasing episodes with some of my thoughts and
