(Rev 1:9)  START OF BIBLE PRESBYTERIANS  The Break with OPC Different mindsets within the new Presbyterian Church of America (now known as Orthodox Presbyterian Church) arose.  One group was openly smoking and drinking their beer and wine.  The second group were offended by the smoking and drinking.  This second group also felt ostracized because they were premillennial, which some in the first group considered “dispensational”.Besides the disagreements about smoking and drinking and eschatology, a third conflict also arose.  It concerned mission work. Gresham Machen had earlier formed the Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions in response against PC in USA's liberal mission board.  This independent board would support only missionaries who are Presbyterians.This led to McIntire and several other ministers coming out of OPC and forming the Bible Presbyterian movement in 1937.Both groups were strongly Presbyterian and Reformed in beliefs and practices and strongly supported the unity of covenant theology and the fundamental principles of Presbyterian church polity.  But they differed on the following 3 points.
