The Bulldog Business Show - December 15, 2025

from The Bulldog Business Show · host Mississippi State University College of Business

In this episode of The Bulldog Business Show, we shine a spotlight on the student leaders who help shape the future of the College of Business—our College of Business Ambassadors. We begin with Business Bites, featuring recent highlights across the COB, including an update on the newly redesigned College of Business website and a look at how our marketing live-case students took their learning off campus at the XTERRA Appalachian Trail Festival—where two students even won their division and earned a spot at the XTERRA Trail Run World Championships. Then, we welcome Paula Gast, Assistant Director of Recruiting & Events, to talk about the College of Business Ambassador program—how ambassadors support recruitment, the rigorous selection process, the committees that keep the program running, and how “Camp COBA” helps new and veteran ambassadors build community and step into leadership. Next, we’re joined by Sophie Perrigin, College of Business Ambassador and triple major, who shares her MSU story, her experience serving on the Alumni Relations Committee, and how the ambassadors are working to connect more deeply with alumni and elevate their stories on campus and across COB platforms. Sophie also reflects on how the program builds professional skills, cultivates confidence, and creates meaningful connections that prepare students for life beyond graduation.
