She’s an avid reader, and recently had an op-ed published in the Kansas City Star detailing her White family’s quarrel with the local Klu Klux Klan. Entriken provides more details about this dispute in her memoir, Ila’s War - a non-fiction narrative about her great aunt’s life times in the early 20th century.
