In the first part of our three-episode account of Best Friend Weekend Phase III, we’re dropping an episode that was recorded the night before the trip. Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve, and Los aka C.A.P. got together to talk about the news stories of the week and prepare for our trip to D.C. Rumble Williams got us started with his thoughts on tipping waiters (01:00), which led to a discussion about respecting my change and tipping different types of servers. Aldo let us know what was Burning His Boudin such as SBC Global email addresses (11:00) and living off your dead homeboy’s gas (16:00). Three stories with local appeal were tackled as we talked about Jason Mitchell’s downfall (23:00), the attempted extortion of Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu (27:00) and the racist “thug day” that took place at Memorial High School in Houston (31:00). The philanthropic gesture of Robert F. Smith to the Morehouse College graduating class of 2019 was a fun thing to revisit (37:00) before we ended the podcast with Rumble’s Question of the Week (42:00) and our thoughts on Monique’s thirsty comments (46:00).
