The Chronicles of Crohn's - With Nicole

Today I am joined with Nicole who has Crohn's Disease, she shares her story, she was diagnosed 2 years ago at the start of the pandemic, Nicole talks about her whole experience and the stress what's involved and a colonoscopy. Nicole says she was diagnosed a day after her colonoscopy. It's a really good conversation!  8 hours time difference today, travelling the world! Nicole takes Stelara for her Crohn's every 8 weeks, she talk about her fear of needles and we talk about the comfort of a person doing the injection for you who you are used to and comfortable with. Nicole is currently is remission which is great to hear!   For her local news Nicole was in the newspaper after entering a model competition which was all about having a voice while being immunocompromised, Nicole got the quarter-finals and beyond! this is a great achievement!  Some great advise from advise from Nicole giving some good positive energy!  We do really talk about the chronicles of Crohn's!
