The Decades Old Rot in the PCA (And some Thoughts on GA and the PCA's Future)

from The Tulip Driven Life · host Thomas Booher

Here I discuss the health of the PCA and begin with some of my own personal experiences in the PCA and at Covenant College, particularly as it pertains to Revoice, same-sex attracted/gay but celibate Christians. I also discuss Kevin DeYoung's excellent GRN speech on the doctrine of sin especially as it pertains to unwanted attractions contrary to the law of God being themselves sinful, etc. I look at how the PCA can move forward and try to salvage the denomination, noting how difficult it will be to get the assembly to agree that SSA is of itself sin/sinful, and how perhaps good faith subscription could be weaponized to allow for differing views on the doctrine of sin such that a space is created for pastors/churches who want to accept Revoice/Side B gay Christianity.
