The definition of Grit | Kayla Banwarth Head Coach Ole Miss

from Max Out Mindset · host PFM Media

A standout volleyball player at the University of Nebraska and for Team USA, Kayla Banwarth is a rising star in the coaching ranks and has taken her championship pedigree to Ole Miss, as she was announced as the Rebels' eighth head coach in program history on Dec. 21, 2019, at the ripe old age of 30! As a player and assistant coach, she helped guide Nebraska to four conference championships, three Final Four appearances, and a national title. Her illustrious career with Team USA garnered eight medals in international competition, including a bronze at the 2016 Olympic games and a 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship! Kayla learned to be a master goal-setter in college and that skill served her well over the years. When I think of Kayla, Grit is what comes to mind. I've known her since 2009 and she has always demonstrated passion and perseverance in whatever she is trying to accomplish. Kayla displays tremendous insight and wisdom in this podcast, but there is also a vulnerability about her.  Follow Dr. Widman @doc_elitemind

Wounded Warriors of the Cross Gary Pastoral and clergy mental health is a mostly ignored area, especially by those who live their lives as pastors in the clergy. The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places.
