This webcast will discuss The Dizzy Patient. Attendees will learn about the vestibular system, approaches to taking a thorough symptoms-based history, common vestibular tests, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, and the role of vestibular rehabilitation as a treatment option. The learners should expect to learn how the vestibular system and mechanisms of dizziness very between patients. They will be educated on the systematic approach at beside and indications for referral to specialists. They will be able to take a focused subjective history, objective bedside examination, and utilize the information to clinically reason and treat those with common vestibular conditions. They will be introduced to the concepts of multifactorial dizziness and understand the prognosis and outcomes vary based on the condition causing dizziness. Link to transcript
