Superman must stop a battleship from falling on Metropolis killing millions and in the second story, Clark is angry with Lois for sideling him reporting on Superman because he is too close to the story in Action Comics #1068. Hal Jordan must use his wits to escape Gammora Island after stealing back his drained power ring, while Carol Ferris is sent on a mission from the Tower of Fate to seek out other heroes only to discover a new Lantern of Sorrow in Green Lantern #14. John Stewart and his allies fight the last of the Radiant Dead in hopes of returning to Earth to help his mother against the Star Shroud in Green Lantern: War Journal #12. Wonder Woman and Robin Damien Wayne take turns trying to get the location of Amanda Waller's Prison out of Captain Boomberang in Wonder Woman #12. Nightwing discovers that Robin Tim Drake has setup his own resistance group separate from the one that Dick and Babs setup. When Failsafe attacks, Nightwing helps them try to defend their Headquaters in Absolute Power: Task Force VII #4.
