The Economy Is Collapsing And He Doesn't Care w/ James Colburn

from Real Estate Uncensored - Real Estate Sales & Marketing Training Podcast

When it comes to figuring out what we want, most of the time we aren't very clear about it. If we want to reinvent ourselves, we have to identify what that looks like and then go after it.   How do we get better at understanding our true desires? How do we turn thoughts into reality? How does visualization help us figure out what is most important?    Designing our path to success is easier when we start with the end in mind.   In this episode of REU, we are joined by author James Colburn to talk about being aware of what you want, how to go after it, and embracing what you ask for. We also talk about his book Resucceed: Create an Extraordinary Future While You Sleep by Using the 5-Minute Epic Evening Ritual and what having a "resucceed mindset" looks like.  You'll also learn; Declaring and designing. How thoughts become things. Why the uncertainty of success is so frightening? Creating a full picture of what you want. Meaningful reasons behind what you want. The "everything is created twice" concept.   Guest Bio   James Colburn has worked for more than two decades in executive and entrepreneurial roles in marketing, real estate, nonprofits, and consulting. Along the way, his experience revealed to him the trap of success: After becoming his company's top performer in sales, breaking records and selling tens of millions of dollars worth of real estate each year, he came to understand that conventional measures of achievement can keep even the best performers from finding fulfillment. He wrote RESUCCEED to share his insights with others so that they can fulfill their potential. James has a bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in Business and a master's degree in International Community Development from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Northwest University. He and his wife, Maurita, are active in charitable work focused on families and global health. James serves as a guest lecturer in the School of Global Studies at Northwest University. He lives with his wife and three children in the Seattle area.   Buy Resucceed here: https://www.amazon.com/Resucceed-Create-Extraordinary-5-Minute-Evening/dp/0998785806  Find James on Twitter @james_colburn Subscribe on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify, and don't forget to leave a review if you like what you heard.
