In episode two of The Football Letter Podcast, we spoke to new Beaver Stadium public address announcers, Rodney Martin and Joe Putnam! Many Nittany Lion fans are already familiar with Rodney and Joe, with each of them having been a part of the communications/broadcasting scene in Happy Valley for several years. Rodney is the voice of Penn State Ice Hockey at Pegula Ice Arena, while Joe has worked as a co-commentator for Penn State Lady Lion Basketball.The duo also has significant experience working together for minor league baseball team, the State College Spikes, where Rodney is the PA announcer and Joe is the Director of Communications/play-by-play lead.
