But here’s something we need to know from the start, being tempted doesn’t make you evil. It makes you human. Satan comes at Him with three offers: turn stones into bread, throw Himself from the temple to test God, and take the easy road to kingship by bowing down just once. He stands firm, not by debating or philosophizing, but by using Scripture.Satan is a master of timing, he won’t tempt you when you’restrong; he’ll wait until you’re exhausted, stressed, and vulnerable. And when that moment comes, his offers will sound reasonable. That’s the danger. The shortcut will always look good in the moment. But just like Jesus, we have a choice.
